March 30th - Interactive Flips

Today is Scrapbook Friday which is my favorite day...

So today I made a page with interactive flaps. I went to a 50's Sock Hop Crop Weekend and I had so many pictures so this turned out to be the perfect layout for them. So on my page are all my Cricut cut pieces from the Nifty Fifties cartridge.

Here is my cover page with my first 2 flaps. It is just missing the word Crop. I didnt think of it till I put the words on page.

This would be my second page with first set of flaps open.

On the inside of the first flaps I have a continuation of photos.

This is my friend on the left(Must give woman I know besides me)and the caption over her head is going to say "I DONT SHARE". Under the woman on Right will say "But I DO"

  I love this layout but it takes so long to make. Well I hope you guys like my project.

Weekend Review - Croppers Delight

This past weekend I spent it cropping with my Friends of Croppers Delight. This was a cropping weekend that took place up in the Poconos. The theme was My Favorite Things. It's a spin off of Oprah's Favorite Things but it is all scrapbooking related. We had the best time, and we received lots of great items. They even gave away a Cricut Expression 2 and an E-Craft Machine. Here is a pic of some of the things we received.

Not only did they give us great gifts. But we also had various swaps and classes to join. They have various people doing a wide variety of classes. We had layouts, knitting & Copic classes. Their swaps consist of a Dessert Swap, 6x6 layout Swap, Card Swaps and many more.

The 6x6 Layout swap was an ABC theme. Each person takes a letter and makes (27) 6x6 pages. With that letter they had to make a title that was an adjective. My letter was R and I took a second letter V.  I came up with Rare and Vibrant.

Everyone did such a great job on there layouts. They were some with cricuted embellishments, stamped, flowers and even buttons. There was even a page with shells cut out of soda cans.

Not only did I have lots of fun but I celebrated my son Daniel's 14th Birthday with them. I then took him snowboarding and almost broke my behind. LOL.

Oh and we wore our green this weekend. HAHA

Theme Day Thursday - Kids

It's Theme Day Thursday Again and I had the best time with this page. My son Daniel turn 14 this pass Sunday. He is not a kid but this page would work for any age. I used the Celebration Cartridge for the Birthday Cake. It was actually 2 separate cuts that I put together. The title is done in Alphallicious. I love the cartridge and but I bought it as a digital cart. I really like using it on CCR.

So I hope you enjoy my post today. I know I enjoyed doing it this week.

Theme Day Thursday - Blue

Hey Girls, Today is Theme Day Thursday. I am working on a baby boy album for someone. Today I made a page for the album. I used the baby steps cartridge for the die cuts.

Theme Day Thursday - Pink

Hey Girls, Today is Theme Day Thursday. We had to do something in Pink. I love the color Pink. Blue is still my favorite but recently I started to like pink again. I worked on this all week. it was a special project. I used the Phrases Cartridge. That cart is like gold to me right now. Using it for so many things. I love layering the differnet cuts on this cart. I pop everything up from the shadow layer.

Theme Day Thursday - Simply Charmed

Hey Girls, Today is Theme Day Thursday. This is my first Theme Day event. We were to use the Simply Charmed Cartridge. I decided to do the Leprechauns being that we have St. Patty's Day coming. This is a really cute cartridge. One of my favorites. They came out so adorable.
